McMain Hurricanes is a coordinated effort by New Orleans Public Schools to implement the First Robotics Competition into it's schools. Initiated by the efforts of Team 1304, N.O. Botics, from the New Orleans Center for Math & Science, New Orleans Robotics seeks to create a year round program to support robotics and engineering education. Partnering With NASA,Intarlox, BLAST Foundation, New Orleans Robotics and the First Robotics Competition pairs student up with real engineers and technology professionals to design and build a robot.
